Quality Engineer - Data

Quality Engineer | Automotive Manufacturing Permanent, Direct Hire We are partnering with an automotive manufacturer in the Nashville area to hire an experienced Quality Engineer. This role will work with customers, suppliers, and plant operations to resolve quality concerns, support product launches, and maintain compliance with automotive quality standards.

Support customer quality reporting, corrective actions, and problem resolution * Maintain compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, customer-specific requirements, and the plant Quality Policy * Review process audits, finished-product inspections, warranty data, and supplier PPAP files * Partner with plant teams, customers, suppliers, and Corporate Quality to improve product and process quality * Investigate significant quality concerns and communicate findings across the organization * Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a technical field with at least three years of manufacturing quality experience, or a high school diploma or equivalent with at least eight years of relevant experience * Quality experience within an automotive Tier 1 or Tier 2 manufacturing environment * Recent AIAG Core Tools training or willingness to complete updated training within the first year * Strong analytical, root-cause analysis, and problem-solving skills * Valid driver's license and ability to travel occasionally to customer assembly plants

Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Six Sigma, and Total Quality principles * Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
