Quality Engineer
Pay: $90K-$100K
What You’ll Do
Maintain and improve quality systems to support high‑quality product delivery across automotive and industrial customers. Work cross‑functionally with manufacturing, suppliers, customers, and leadership to resolve quality issues, strengthen processes, and support audits.
Key responsibilities:
- Maintain quality systems aligned with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, GMP , and customer requirements
- Lead and support corrective actions , root cause analysis, and preventive actions
- Manage customer complaints and communicate with customers/suppliers on quality issues
- Perform supplier audits , internal audits, and support third‑party audit readiness
- Create/update control plans , FMEAs , and quality documentation
- Compile and analyze quality data, trends, test results, and customer reports
- Support PPAP submissions, COAs, product changes, and new product development
- Participate in Kaizen, CI projects, and quality meetings
- Assist with disposition of returned material
- Serve as Product Safety Representative when required
What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Strong technical and statistical knowledge
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949
- Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Certified ISO 9001 & IATF 16949 Lead Auditor
Preferred:
- Automotive or industrial manufacturing experience
- Experience with PPAP, FMEA, control plans, supplier quality, and customer quality reporting
- Audit support, Kaizen, CI initiatives
