As a Quality Engineer at our Canby, OR facility, you'll be embedded in the production process, partnering with Engineering, Operations, and our customers to make sure every product meets spec and every process keeps improving.
You'll own quality through NPI, configuration management, and production — leading root cause analysis, supporting supplier quality, and driving the kind of continuous improvement that keeps our customers coming back.If you're the type who can read an engineering drawing, run an internal audit, and present findings to a customer all in the same week, this role was built for you.What You'll DoRepresent Quality through NPI, configuration management, and production activitiesGather information from Engineering specs and work instructions to verify product conformanceEnsure documentation is accurate, complete, and conforms to ISO standardsPrepare and present customer-specific Quality reports, including on-site and web-based presentationsLead root cause analysis and corrective action in collaboration with suppliers and internal teamsExecute inspections and approvals to manufacturing specs, drawings, and performance requirementsPerform internal audits of procedures and quality systemsSupport Supplier Quality activities to ensure receipt of conforming partsInitiate and champion continuous improvement and Lean principles across the organizationWhat You BringRequired:5+ years of experience as a Quality professional supporting both military and non-military customersBachelor's degree in a technical, business, engineering, or management field; or 8+ years of equivalent experienceStrong knowledge of quality standards and regulations including AS9100, ISO 13485, ISO 14971, and APQPProficiency with RCCA, PFMEA, CAPA, and QMS managementPractical experience with measuring instruments used in quality inspectionProficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/statistical analysis applicationsMust have the legal, permanent right to work in the United StatesPreferred:Knowledge of electronic systems, printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs), and subassembly constructionFamiliarity with Six Sigma, Lean, and ISO frameworksASQ CQE or CQM CertificationITAR RequirementThis position is located within an ITAR-regulated facility. citizens, lawful permanent residents, asylees, or refugees).Work EnvironmentThis is a 100% on-site role at our Canby, OR manufacturing facility. You'll work primarily in a professional office environment with regular presence on the production floor.
