The quality engineer will focus on effective and efficient inspection processes, timely processing of rejected material, maintaining good relationships with key suppliers, and on-boarding and training of new quality technicians.Who You AreThe ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and familiarity with Quality tools and methods. This role generally requires 4 days onsite per week.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and document standard proceduresCreate and execute inspection plans, gather other data as neededAssist with root cause analysis of issues, follow up on corrective actionsMaintain Quality records and prepare customer documentationAssist with calibrationOther quality tasks as needed or assigned.Responsibilities are subject to change based on shifting business needsQualificationsMinimum of 2 years experience operating a manufacturing quality systemExperience with part prints, tolerancingExperience with inspection tools, hand held (micrometers, calipers) and more advanced (comparators, CMM, vision systems).Ability to write clear instructions and follow instructions.Comfortable with spreadsheets, Word documents and basic statisticsBS in technical field or engineering preferredSALARY RANGE: $76,100 - $114,100 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
