Dean, we are committed to building the next generation of technical leaders in electrical, engineering, and cybersecurity industries.The Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for documenting, managing, implementing, and institutionalizing the Quality Assurance plan for the assigned business unit and/or service center.ResponsibilitiesDocument, implement and manage quality assurancePlan for the assigned functional area.Perform quality control tasks to include:Document tailored processes across the value stream using ISO, CMMI, Agile, Lean Six Sigma, PMBOK, ITIL and other internationally recognized process frameworks.Collaborates with other members of management to develop new processes and methods in assigned functional areasCreates product quality documentation system by writing and updating quality assurance proceduresUnderstand challenges in the existing AS-IS processes and recommend improvements for process optimizationIdentify technical and administrative controls and create rules, policies, and procedures for the control implementation.Lead all activities involving quality assurance, compliance, audits, deliverables, and process improvement.Conduct project specific audits to measure the degree of adherence to documented policies and procedures.Prepare product and process quality reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trendsDevelop project scorecard on Quality Assurance and report to project and executive teams on the level of adherence.Work on special process improvement projects to identify root cause and put in place corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrenceQualifications0+ years of experience with a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (preferably Industrial/Systems Engineering)Abilities:Exposure to computer screens for an extended period of time.Sitting for extended periods of time.
