Quality Engineer - Manufacturing
SE Alabama
* Bachelor's Degree in Quality, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering preferred
* 5+ years working in quality and manufacturing and interest in advancement
* Perform internal ISO audits, documents and report findings
* Develop, maintain programs, processes and metrics that support quality initiatives
* Experience with project management, leading projects, planning and scheduling
* Lean principles such as Six Sigma, certification helpful but not required
* Provide supply chain support by developing and maintaining supplier rating systems
* SPC implementation ensuring quality performance and troubleshooting
* Continuous improvements to reduce cost, eliminate process variations and non-conformance
* Create control plans, check lists and define inspection procedures
* Train CNC personnel inspection techniques
* Establish gauging requirements for all products
* Participate in Material Review Board (MRB) activities
* Strong math skills
* Some travel, less than 20%
* ITAR requires a "U.S. Person" (per ITAR 120.15)
