We're a trusted and strategic partner to engineers, contractors, distributors, specifiers, retailers, and homeowners alike as the manufacturer of precast concrete, polymer concrete, and plastic infrastructure products.Job SummaryCoordinator is responsible for the overall safety compliance and ensuring quality in our Dry-mix concrete products at the plant-level, including routine testing products and aggregates as per ASTM to ensure compliance and/or to develop new formulas.Job ResponsibilitiesTesting of product formulationsInspection, testing, and approval of incoming raw materialsProvide/produce and prepare samples for sales as neededFollow all established specifications and processesRoutinely inspect/observe plant equipment and activities for safe processesPrepare and submit all required reports to Oldcastle or applicable agencyKeep plant in compliance with EH & S regulationsJob RequirementsHigh school degree required; Associates Degree preferredAbility to read and interpret instructions and operations manuals and follow step by step instructionsAdequate computer skillsEndure intermittent bending, crouching, pushing, pulling, stooping and reachingStanding for extended period of timeExperience with lab and testing procedures preferredExperience with safety programs and complianceSome experience working in a manufacturing environment preferredSome mechanical aptitude or experience with production processing equipment preferredSome experience working with EH & S programs/agenciesMust be detail-orientedMust be able to problem-solve, with a strong sense of goal attainmentThe employee is regularly required to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
