Home Health Registered Nurse Compensation

• Pay rate: $49.81 per hour
• Shift: Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM

Home Health Registered Nurse Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing support for individuals in community or small facility settings.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and evaluate health programs and services.
• Coordinate communication and actions among disciplines related to health and safety supports.
• Order, review, monitor, and discontinue medications as prescribed, ensuring policies are followed.
• Document patient health status routinely in nurse's notes and report changes to physicians.
• Supervise activities of licensed practical/vocational nurses as needed.
• Ensure appointments for health issues are scheduled and addressed promptly, maintaining safety and health standards.

Home Health Registered Nurse QUALIFICATIONS:

Critical Information:

• Shift: Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM
• On-site work environment
• No on-call schedule
• Must comply with policies regarding medication management and health documentation

Education/Licenses Needed:

• Alabama or compact licensed Registered Nurse
• Must be familiar with HCHB, OASIS, PointCare
