Quality Control Inspector

Connections Personnel has a temp to hire openings for 2 Quality Control Inspector for a leading sheet metal company dedicated to delivering high-quality products to their customers located in Union, NJ. Must have metal manufacturing background. They are currently seeking meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspectors to join their team. The Quality Control Inspector will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance with industry regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct quality inspections using and to ensure product specifications are met.
• Perform inspections on raw materials, work in progress, and finished products.
• Utilize methods to identify defects or deviations from quality standards.
• Analyze data and results to provide detailed reports on product quality.
• Collaborate with the QA/QC team to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain documentation of all inspection activities in compliance with standards.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in blue print reading and interpretation.
• Must have metal manufacturing background.
• Strong analytical skills to effectively inspection results.
• Prior experience using equipment such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and optical comparator.
• Knowledge of QA/QC and ISO 9001 standards.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in conducting inspections.
• Must be able to pass a drug, background check and E-Verify.

Benefits: Medical, 401K and vacation and holiday pay.

Schedule: 7am-330pm Monday thru Friday plus possible overtime.

Salary: $22/hr -$25/hr depending on experience.
