Comply with company procedures and perform additional duties as assigned by management.Education, Experience, & CertificationsPrefer a candidate with welding and fitting knowledgeASME Pressure Vessel Experience2 years' experience in a Quality DepartmentEssential Duties & ResponsibilitiesResponsible for interpreting drawings and checking all pre-fabrication layoutsOversee and coordinate NDE activitiesResponsible for day to day floor inspections in accordance to codes and specifications such as: ASME Sec. VIII, ASME B31.1, AWS D1.1Qualify and Document all specialized weldersPerform and oversee VT, MT, PT, and Hydrostatic testingResponsible for inspecting all material receivedFluent interpretation of vessel, structural, piping drawings and checking all layoutsOversee and coordinate NDE activitiesRead and Interpret P&ID and general Arrangement DrawingsReject and isolate nonconforming itemsGenerate and approve final release documentationDocument and maintain all traceability informationReview supplier material certificatesNote: The above information is intended to describe the general nature and level of the work being performed by persons assigned to this job.
