Quality Assurance Manager

We’re working with an established food manufacturer based in Battle Creek, MI. They are recruiting a Quality Manager to lead the plant’s Quality Assurance and Food Safety function.

Responsibilities:

• Lead plant Quality Assurance & Food Safety
• Maintain GMP, SQF, FSMA and FDA compliance
• Manage HACCP, HARPC and CAPA programs
• Maintain regulatory and customer audit readiness
• Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions
• Manage environmental monitoring and testing
• Oversee allergen, label and foreign material controls
• Manage product hold and release processes
• Track and improve plant quality KPIs
• Manage customer complaints and investigations
• Drive continuous improvement across Quality and Operations

Requirements:

• BS in Food Science/Microbiology OR 5+ years’ QA experience
• Food manufacturing Quality Assurance experience
• Strong food safety and regulatory knowledge
• HACCP, PCQI and SQF Certified
