Building and leading a dedicated QA automation function, the full-time remote Quality Assurance Engineering Manager will define the quality engineering strategy, select automation tools, and personally write tests while managing a team to enhance testing practices across products. Key responsibilities Define and own the quality engineering strategy and roadmap across products Personally write automated tests and build framework components while managing the QA team Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and establish quality gates for releases Required qualifications 7+ years in software quality or engineering, with 3+ years in a leadership role Proven experience in building or maturing a test automation practice Hands-on coding ability with modern automation tools and CI/CD processes Strong technical judgment in automation frameworks and test architecture Experience with AI-assisted testing tools and understanding of their application in QA
