QA CMM Programmer/OperatorLeClaire Manufacturing is seeking a QA CMM Programmer/Operator to support precision machining and inspection operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for dimensional inspection, CMM programming and operation, quality documentation, and supporting manufacturing and engineering teams to ensure product conformance and continuous improvement.This role is a strong fit for someone with manufacturing quality experience, solid blueprint and GD&T knowledge, and the technical aptitude to grow into advanced CMM programming responsibilities. Candidates with prior CMM programming experience are strongly preferred, but we are willing to train the right individual with a strong quality or machining background.The position works closely with Quality, Manufacturing, and Engineering personnel on a variety of machined components and inspection projects.

Join a family-owned manufacturing company where employees can make a meaningful impact from Day 1.Essential ResponsibilitiesCreate, edit, and maintain CMM inspection programsPerform dimensional inspections on machined parts, tooling, fixtures, and gaugesDevelop setup documentation and inspection instructionsInterpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirementsSupport new product launches, PPAP activities, and SPC studiesAnalyze inspection data and communicate findings to Manufacturing and Engineering teamsAssist in fixture design and inspection process improvementsVerify calibration and proper operation of CMM equipment and inspection toolsConduct surface plate inspections and hand-tool gauge setup/calibrationSupport troubleshooting and continuous improvement efforts related to product qualityAssist in training and supporting other inspection personnelMaintain compliance with quality standards and safety proceduresQualificationsEducationHigh school diploma or GED requiredTechnical training or an associate degree in a related field preferredFormal CMM training is a plusExperienceManufacturing quality, machining, or inspection experience requiredPrior CMM programming or operation experience preferredExperience with Calypso software is a plusSkills & KnowledgeStrong understanding of blueprint reading and GD&TMechanical aptitude and attention to detailAbility to learn technical software and inspection processesStrong communication and teamwork skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a production environmentWhy Join LeClaire Manufacturing?At LeClaire Manufacturing, employees are more than a number.
