We’re hiring a QA professional to join a customer-facing product team focused on ensuring the quality and reliability of web and backend applications.
This is a 6 month contract + extensions, hybrid 2x/week on site in Pittsburgh.
What You’ll Do:
- Perform functional, integration, regression, API, and end-to-end testing
- Build and maintain manual and automated test frameworks
- Develop test plans, cases, scenarios, and regression suites
- Test APIs and validate backend data/integrations
- Partner with developers, product owners, and BAs in an Agile environment
- Support automation and CI/CD testing initiatives
Must-Haves:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 3+ years of QA/testing experience
- Strong manual testing background, approximately 70% manual / 30% automation
- Selenium, Cypress, or similar automation tools
- API testing experience
- SQL knowledge for backend/data validation
- Agile and Azure DevOps/JIRA experience
Nice to Have: Playwright | TypeScript/JavaScript/C#/Python | Git | CI/CD | Oracle Utilities/CIS | Utility industry experience
