If you thrive on innovation and collaboration with a diversely talented team, we encourage you to apply.In This Role, You Will…Strive to ensure high quality release packages are assembled, compiled, deployed, tested and meet all auditing standards.Collaborate with software development, configuration management, software testing and production deployment teams.Work to prepare application builds based on release requirements and will certify the deployment via execution of environment shakedown or smoke testing.Perform audit functions to ensure appropriate procedures are followed.Responsibilities:Performs audit functions to ensure appropriate procedures are followedCoordinates delivery of scoped activities within a software buildDevelops and executes manual & automated test casesFiles descriptive and accurate defect reports as necessaryWorks with Business Analyst and Development team to learn Software Development processes and methodologiesResponsible for developing and executing formal test plans to ensure the delivery of quality software applications.Involved in test planning, writing test cases/scripts, creating reusable test data, test case automation, and test execution.Defines and tracks quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results and test status.Collects and analyzes data for software process evaluation and improvements, and integrates them into business processes to address the business needs.Documents all problems and assist in their resolution.Participates in the delivery of quality process training to technical staff.Participates in quality audits across the various IT functions to ensure quality standards, procedures and methodologies are being followed.Qualifications:Experience with Microsoft Windows, Linux or other OS platformsExperience with Web Services testing and proficient use of SOAPUIExperience with query languages to view data to verify test resultsBasic knowledge of source (code) controlBasic knowledge of database Microsoft SQL Server seriesEffective in a fast paced environmentAbility to follow both written and verbal instructionsCollaborative/enjoys working in teamsSelf-starter/motivatedCreative and effective problem solving skillsAbility to work on/manage multiple tasks concurrentlyDetail oriented, organized and thoroughExcellent interpersonal skillsMust have worked on projects with .NET framework or other Object Oriented frameworkMust have worked with Web application testing
