Our desire is to continue to provide the best care to the residents of our community!As a QMA in our facility, look at what you can enjoy:Competitive starting wage with additional pay for experience.Tuition Reimbursement up to $5,000 per year.Paid life insurance.Profit-Sharing.$2 Shift differential and $2 weekend differential!DailyPay program.Monthly Celebrations.Quarterly Education BonusQualified Medication Aide (QMA) Primary ResponsibilitiesThe QMA is responsible for providing the medication administration, daily care, health needs, safety and comfort of the residents.Essential FunctionsThe QMA is responsible for providing the medication administration, daily care, health needs, safety and comfort of the residents.QMA's administer and document oral medications, eye medications, topical medications, suppository medications, ear drops and all others as ordered by the physicianPerform treatments on minor skin conditions per physician ordersMaintain locked medication cart and medication keys according to facility policyCheck catheters frequently and providing catheter care as assigned by the nurseQMA's will document all medications and treatments given in the medication record and in the nurses notes according to policyMaintaining the confidentiality of all residents and their care to ensure residents rights and privacy are protected at all timesPerforming other duties as assigned by staff nurse or designeeQualificationsMust be certified by the State Department of Health as a CNA in good standingMust have completed a state approved training program in medication administration and have current QMA certification by the State Department of HealthHave a thorough understanding of the principles of safe effective nursing practices within the State of employment.A high school diploma or GED
