Qualification Engineer

Qualification EngineerThe Qualification Engineer leads qualification testing for standard and custom hardware and software systems. They develop test procedures, assess required equipment, and may help build or modify test fixtures. This role also supports regulatory processes to ensure product readiness for qualification testing.Core ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with Design and Software teams to identify support equipment necessary for successful performance verification during formal qualification testingDraft qualification test procedures and reports (QTP and QTR), as well as other documents required to qualify various LRUsFacilitate contract execution with third-party laboratories to secure resources, test facilities, and coordinate with regulatory agenciesMonitor, coordinate, and manage all activities related to the execution of the formal qualification test program, includingSetting and maintaining the test scheduleIntegrating test lab and support equipmentCoordinating with regulatory authoritiesProviding regular status reportsConduct research, including root cause analysis, to support the development of Failure Reporting and Corrective Action (FRACA) documentation for test failure conditions and recovery plansRepresent the company and liaise with the FAA and company suppliersInterfaced with Boeing, Airbus and others regarding LRU qualificationPerform technical review of QTPs and QTRs and provide feedback to other junior team membersProvide mentorship and training to junior team membersPerform other job-related duties as assigned
