Pay Rate: $60–$70 per hour

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Quadient Inspire Developer for a long‑term contract‑to‑hire opportunity with a leading financial services organization in Newark, NJ. The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on experience developing customer communications using Quadient Inspire tools and will be comfortable working in an agile, collaborative environment.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands‑on experience developing customer communications using Quadient Inspire.
• Experience creating communications that use Tickets in Quadient Interactive to guide user experience and customize output.
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance while effectively collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
• Strong problem‑solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and Test‑Driven Development (TDD).
• Continuous learner with the ability to acquire new skills through self‑initiative and hands‑on problem solving.
• Solid understanding of business concepts, tools, and processes used to support sound decision‑making.

Technical Skills

• Design patterns and design methodologies
• Multithreading, concurrency, and parallel processing

APIs & Integration

• API development and consumption
• Service‑Oriented Architecture (SOA) patterns
• REST, JSON, SOAP, XML
• JDBC, MySQL

Testing & Quality

• Unit, interface, and end‑user testing (functional and non‑functional)
• Automated testing practices
• Accessibility awareness

Security

• Secure coding and web application security
• DevSecOps practices
• Authentication and authorization concepts
• SSL, web service proxies, firewalls
• SAML 2.0, OpenID Connect, OAuth 2.0

DevOps & SDLC

• Git‑based source control (GitHub, Bitbucket, or Subversion)
• CI/CD tools such as Jenkins
• SDLC monitoring and logging techniques

Preferred Qualifications

• Quadient Inspire Designer and Interactive certification
• ADA document compliance experience
• Design Thinking experience
• Financial or insurance industry experience (preferred, not required)
