Duties
- Review case files to assess status and identify resolution opportunities.
- Prepare deposition strategy and questions.
- Conduct QME depositions, both applicant-set and defense-set.
- Document findings and recommendations in the case management system.
- Manage exhibits and make strategic decisions during depositions.
- Maintain accurate case files and communicate with team members.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and active California law license.
- 1+ years of experience in workers' compensation litigation preferred.
- Knowledge of California workers' compensation procedures and QME processes.
- Experience in a workers' compensation defense or applicant firm is a plus.
Education
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.
Certifications
- Active member of the State Bar of California.
