nJob Summary We are seeking a QIDP (Qualified Individual Disability Personnel) to assist with the responsibilities to supervise and manage assigned DCCI residential home(s) and staff. Responsibilities will include ongoing review of DCCI programs to ensure that services are provided in a comprehensive manner. The Program Director will direct the following areas: service plan compliance; compliance with waiver requirements; compliance with all licensing regulations, quality assurance of programs and team support. It will be your responsibility to identify gaps and areas of improvement within our community, and help create a plan of action to solve these problems. This can include speaking directly with our persons supported to help identify needs in order to instruct direct support staff on care, working with other employees to find solutions to issues, and overall contribution to DCCI'S program as a whole.
nKey Responsibilities
nEnsure policies in Department on Disability Services, Maryland Developmental Disabilities Administration are being met at all times
nServes as an active liaison at Annual ISP meetings or conferences for persons supported
nEnsure State, Federal, and District regulations are being met at all times
nEnsure compliance with all clients Individual Support Plan, appointments, housing goals and objectives are being met
nReview and ensure accuracy of active treatment/behavior data collections forms and documentation of all progress reporting requirements, i.e., incident reports, progress notes, timesheets, etc.
nEnsure program books in person supported homes are up to date at all times
nEnsure that key information regarding programs is communicated to management and staff in a timely manner
nWrite outcomes, goals, quarterlies and strategies as part of the person supported planning process and work with the staff to ensure that progress is being made towards the achievement of those outcomes, goals, and strategies
nEnsure that medical services for person supported are completed as required
nEnsure that all services that we provided are authorized and have been successfully inputted into LTSS/PCIS
nFacilitate staff trainings
nMeet with persons supported to determine their needs
nResearch and implement new programs to improve community inclusion
nEnsure regulatory compliance at every step
nQualifications
nBachelor’s or higher in social work or equivalent field desired
nDDA/DDS Experience and Policy knowledge desired
nExperience with social work desired
nExperience in a people-facing role
nStrong communication and interpersonal skills
nExperience with basic computer programs, such as Microsoft Office suite
nGoogle drive experience desired
