QA/Test Lead

SciTecis seeking a Quality Assurance / Test Lead for large software system providing value for an emergent missile defense need.
Responsibilities
* Support planning and execution of system integration and verification activities
* Develop and refine test strategies, plans, and methodologies aligned with program objectives
* Execute and support system-level test events, including integration, functional, and performance testing
* Identifyverification gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities, and drive resolution
* Analyze system performance against requirements and document test results
* Collaborate with software, systems, infrastructure, and program teams to ensure integrated system readiness
* Support coordination with government and contractor stakeholders to align integration and test activities
* Provide recommendations to improve verification rigor, efficiency, and consistency
* Support preparation for internal and external reviews, assessments, and demonstrations
* Contribute to continuous improvement of integration and test processes across programs
* Derivemetricsand acceptance criteria for system-level and acceptance-level testing from program requirements
* Perform other duties as assigned
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physical Sciences, or a related technical field or equivalent experience
* 10+ years of experience supporting system integration, test, or verification activities in a defense or complex systems environment
* Experience with system-level verification and validation (V&V)
* Experience with the four layers of testing in the software development life cycle (SDLC)
* Experience developing or executing test plans and test procedures
* Ability to analyze system behavior against requirements, derived test criteria,and document results
* Strong understanding of integration environments and test workflows
* Experience collaborating across technical teams and stakeholders
* Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to obtain a DoD security clearance
Candidates who have any of the following skills will be preferred:
* A current active DoD SECRET security clearance or higher
* Experience contributing to verification strategy development
* Experience supporting Missile Warning, space, or similar mission systems
* Experience working across multiple programs or system components
* Experience supporting customer-facing test events or demonstrations
* Experience in Agile or hybrid development environments

The pay range for this position is $140,000 to 176,000 / year. SciTec considers several factors when extending an offer of employment, including but not limited to the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
