As a contract manufacturer organization (CMO), we collaborate with innovators from some of the world's most successful brands.It is the responsibility of the QA Supervisor to work with and assist QA management in project management, development, implementation, and enforcement of quality policies, procedures, and programs. The QA Supervisor shall assume the responsibilities for overseeing of CAPTEK's internal QA matters.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:The QA Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of all QA Leads, Technicians.

Schedule and coordinate work assignments for the department/shiftsAssure compliance with quality requirementsPlan and set goals and objectives for the departmentConduct job performance reviewsInitiate disciplinary actions and investigates incidents when requiredTrend and drive site's internal quality performancePerform and/or coordinate training of department personnel, as neededResponsible for interviewing and hiring personnelConduct investigations concerning operational problems, customer complaints, non-conformances, failures, and/or any other such quality investigations. QA supervisor is responsible for performing complaint investigationAssist in the development of corrective actions, implementation, and follow-up of corrective actionsAssist in revising and approving quality and process control proceduresParticipate in developing, interpreting, and implementing policies and procedures for the area of responsibilityAnalyze quality data and make recommendations for improvementAssist in preparation of customer and regulatory auditsDeciding on approval/disposition of the productsPerform other related duties as assigned by VP of Quality and ComplianceMonitor HACCP and Food Safety complianceQualifications:Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience with 1 year in a Supervisory roleExperience managing and scheduling a shift of five (5) or more employeesExperience in training personnelCompetencies:Strong verbal and written communicationGood attendance and punctualityAbility to follow instructionsExcellent organizational skills/ attention to detail/ ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environmentStrong proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPointEffective leadershipAbility to set priorities, be flexible, multi-task, and meet deadlinesAbility to manage time and work under pressure with minimal supervisionStrong working knowledge of quality systemsEducation/Experience:Minimum AA degree in health science or related discipline. Bachelor's degree preferred. Two years of work-related experience may substitute for one year of a college education.Working knowledge of cGMPs and FDA regulations ASQ CQA and/or CHA certification preferredWork Environment:The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
