Remote Contract General

Data Center QA/QC Engineer - Fairless Hills, PAJLL is seeking a motivated data center electrical QA/QC Engineer to join our team. This position will be on site in Fairless Hills, PA, for a 12 month minimum project. This position provides an excellent opportunity to learn and grow within the data center quality and commissioning field under the guidance of experienced professionals.

The successful candidate will assist senior team members in delivering quality inspection services while developing technical expertise in building systems and commissioning processes.Your day-to-day tasks will include:Supporting QA/QC inspection activities under the supervision of senior engineersAssisting with field inspections of electrical equipment and systemsDocumenting test results and maintaining inspection recordsParticipating in regular onsite meetings and site visitsHelping prepare deliverables such as checklists and test proceduresLearning and applying commissioning standards (ASHRAE, CSA, LEED)Conducting basic testing and verification activities with guidanceSupporting the development and maintenance of project documentationContributing to issue tracking and resolution processesDesired experience and technical skills:Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related technical field is preferred but not required1-3+ years of experience in filed inspection of mission critical electrical systemsBasic understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and controls / monitoring systemsProficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Strong attention to detail and strong organizational skillsExcellent written and verbal communication abilitiesWillingness to learn and apply technical conceptsAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamWillingness to travel as required to maintain a 90% onsite cadence at project location (typical onsite working hours 0700 - 1600 M-F)Desire to grow professionally in the data center quality and commissioning fieldPreferred:Internship or co-op experience in building systems, commissioning, or constructionFamiliarity with building codes and standardsKnowledge of electrical testing processes (NETA), testing equipment and proceduresExperience reading and interpreting construction documents and drawingsUnderstanding of building automation systemsBasic knowledge of energy efficiency conceptsExperience with high volume data collection and analysisEagerness to pursue professional certifications in the futureFamiliarity with project management conceptsThis position does not provide visa sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.Estimated compensation for this position:88,000.00 – 120,000.00 USD per yearThis range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ.
