QA EngineerWe are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QA Engineer to support our embedded engineering teams in delivering reliable and intuitive software solutions. QA Engineers at AxisCare sit within engineering teams as part of our shift-left quality model. In this role you will contribute directly to product quality by developing test strategies, executing testing activities, and collaborating closely with engineers and product managers throughout the development lifecycle. This role balances hands-on testing, automation contributions, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure quality is consistently built into every release.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and scripts for functional, integration, and regression testingDesign, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for various components including UI, API, and performance testingParticipate in sprint planning, design reviews, and requirements analysis to ensure clarity, testability, and early identification of quality risksConduct performance and load testing to evaluate system behavior under varying levels of stress and usageReport, track, and manage defects throughout the development lifecycle, ensuring issues are clearly documented and resolved prior to releaseCollaborate closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts to improve product quality and ensure alignment with requirementsAssist in identifying root causes of defects and verify bug fixes through targeted validation and regression testingEngage with approved AI-assisted testing tools as part of day-to-day work, contributing to the team's ongoing adoption of these tools to improve quality, coverage, and efficiencyContribute to improving testing practices, documentation, and team quality standardsSupport automation initiatives by maintaining automated test suites and identifying opportunities to expand test coverageWhat We're Looking For (Required Qualifications)Solid understanding of multiple testing types including functional, integration, regression, performance, and security testingExperience with automated testing tools such as Playwright, Selenium, TestNG, or similar frameworksAbility to analyze software requirements and technical specifications to design effective test coverageFamiliarity with programming or scripting languages used for test automation such as JavaScript, Python, or JavaStrong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical problem-solving skillsExperience working within Agile development environments and collaborating with cross-functional teamsStrong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple testing priorities simultaneouslyExcellent communication skills and the ability to clearly document issues and test outcomesWhat We'd Be Excited to Find (Preferred Qualifications)Experience in the home care, healthcare, or related SaaS industryFamiliarity with AI-assisted testing tools and an interest in exploring how they can improve QA workflowsExperience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated testing into development workflowsExperience with API testing tools such as Bruno, Postman or similarJoin our team and play a crucial role in delivering high-quality software solutions that empower home care operators and enhance the lives of caregivers and care recipients alike.
