Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer with strong programming and automation testing skills to develop, maintain, and enhance automation frameworks.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Java or Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, OOP concepts, data structures, exception handling, and debugging.
- Expertise in Selenium WebDriver, Page Object Model (POM), reusable automation frameworks, cross-browser testing, waits, and parallel execution.
- Strong experience with BDD, Gherkin, Cucumber-JVM, feature files, step definitions, hooks, tags, and scenario outlines.
- Hands-on experience with REST API testing and automation using REST Assured, Karate, or Postman; knowledge of JSON/XML, authentication, and response validation.
- Experience with GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipelines, automated test execution, regression runs, and test reporting.
- Strong understanding of functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, and smoke testing.
- Knowledge of advanced Java concepts and maintenance of existing automation frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, and Cursor.
- Excellent communication, analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to translate business requirements into test scenarios, document defects, and collaborate with development and business teams.
