QA Automation EngineerWe are seeking a skilled and motivated QA Engineer with strong expertise in functional testing of web and API-based applications. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in Functional, E2E testing, test design, and validation of complex systems, along with working knowledge of test automation tools to support efficiency and scalability. Candidate should specialize in end-to-end functional validation, user experience, and API testing, while leveraging automation.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform comprehensive functional testing of web applications, ensuring alignment with business requirements and user expectationsDesign and execute detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test plans for UI and backend servicesConduct Web UI testing across browsers and devices to validate usability, responsiveness, and consistencyPerform API and web services testing using tools such as Postman, Swagger, or similar platformsValidate end-to-end business workflows, including integration points between systemsIdentify, log, and track defects; perform root cause analysis and collaborate with development teams for resolutionParticipate in requirements analysis and grooming sessions, ensuring testability and clarity of acceptance criteriaSupport regression testing cycles and ensure stability of releasesContribute to test automation efforts by creating or maintaining automated test scripts where applicable (Playwright and Selenium)Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product owners, and business stakeholdersUse tools such as Jira and test management tools (Zephyr, Xray or similar) to manage test execution and defect trackingPromote QA best practices, process improvements, and quality standards across the teamDocument test strategies, test results, and quality metricsRequired Skills & Qualifications7-8 years of experience in software testing, with a strong emphasis on functional/manual testingProven expertise in Web UI testing and API testingStrong experience with test case design, test planning, and executionHands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman, Swagger, or similarSolid understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC/STLC processesExperience working with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira)Working knowledge of automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, or similar.Basic to intermediate programming/scripting knowledge (e.g., C#, TypeScript, or similar)Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflowsExposure to CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar) is a plusAbility to translate functional requirements into effective test coverage
