Required Qualifications
* Strong Python expertise with demonstrated experience building production systems
* Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs using the OpenAPI 3.0 specification
* Experience developing large-scale, back-end applications and microservices
* Ability to understand, develop, and maintain complex distributed systems
* Experience with Agile development processes and tools, such as Jira, Confluence, Git, and Bitbucket
* Experience with CI/CD practices and tools such as Jenkins and Ansible
* Experience with Git-based source control and modern development workflows
* Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
* Experience creating technical documentation and training materials
* Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
* Ability to collaborate effectively with geographically distributed teams
* Experience with agentic software development tools; GitHub Copilot experience preferred
Desired Qualifications
* Experience with Kubernetes and/or OpenShift
* Experience contributing to or operating containerized microservices environments
* Familiarity with NFS and distributed file system concepts
* Experience with Perl (especially for legacy system migration)
* Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux environments
* Experience with NetApp Network Attached Storage devices
* Experience analyzing and reporting on operational data with Oracle SQL and Splunk
