We are seeking a Python Full Stack Developer for a full-time position located in San Jose, California. This role involves contributing to the Threat Reporting Experience, supporting Threat Operations through full-stack development on a dynamic team. You will work on the FY27 roadmap, building and improving the Threat Ops portal and AI assistants. The position requires 3 days onsite per week.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute full-stack features (React front end, Python back end) to the Threat Ops portal, including migrating onboarding and request forms onto the platform's product catalog.
  • Help build and expose platform capabilities via the team's Threat Ops MCP standard, supporting natural-language query access through AI assistants.
  • Contribute to the Threat Ops Defect Hub, replacing legacy Slack workflows with a templated reporter flow and Jira integration.
  • Support team dashboards and metrics, surfacing data such as false-positive rates, AI investigation coverage, and request volume.
  • Participate in code reviews and follow Git-based workflow and coding standards.
  • Debug and resolve defects, support deployment and maintenance of services.
  • Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to turn well-scoped tickets into customer-facing improvements.

Qualifications

  • Required
    • 10+ years of professional development experience.
    • Solid understanding of object-oriented design and fundamental programming concepts.
    • Professional experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and React HTML/CSS responsive UI.
    • Professional backend development experience in Python.
    • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and Git-based code review workflows.
    • Ability to work independently on well-scoped tasks with minimal onboarding time.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and a track record of delivering on assigned tasks.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Preferred
    • Demonstrated full-stack delivery experience.
