Python Developer
Location: Chicago, IL (Remote) Duration: 6 Months
Primary Responsibilities:
- Working closely with other developers, designers, business and systems analysts
- Develop applications processing large data volume efficiently
- Provide guidance on industry best practices, guidelines and governance for application/systems
- Work closely with Quality Assurance to ensure end product is delivered with quality outcomes
- Perform benefit analysis for IT solutions and make recommendations for technology direction
- Researching, designing, implementing and managing software programs
- Testing and evaluating new programs
- Identifying areas for modification in existing programs and subsequently developing these modifications
- Writing and implementing efficient code
- Determining operational practicality
- Developing quality assurance procedures
- Deploying software tools, processes and metrics
- Maintaining and upgrading existing systems
Key Technical Skills:
- Required:
- Programming Language: Shell Scripting, Python leveraging pandas
- Development experience on AWS platform
- Containerization tool: Docker
- Environments: Linux, WINDOWS
- Version Control: GIT
- Nice to have:
- Databases: MySQL, RDS, Redshift
- Experience in Testing Automation
