Junior DeveloperWe are seeking a skilled Python/PHP Developer/Programmer to join our dynamic team. As part of our development team, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features and functionalities for our SaaS products. Your primary focus will be on developing server-side logic, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.
You will also be responsible for integrating front-end elements into the application.Develop, test, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure Python/PHP applications.Write efficient, reusable, and reliable code following best practices.Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.Identify bottlenecks and bugs and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues.Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.Proficient in Python and PHP, with a good knowledge of their ecosystems.Familiarity with some ORM (Object Relational Mapper) libraries for Python and PHP (such as SQLAlchemy, Doctrine, etc.).Understanding of the threading limitations of Python, and multi-process architecture.Experience with PHP frameworks (such as Laravel, Symfony, etc.) is a plus.Good understanding of server-side templating languages such as Jinja 2, Blade, etc.Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.Knowledge of user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments.Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.Familiarity with event-driven programming in Python.Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git.Experience with Agile methodologies is preferred.Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Proven work experience as a Python Developer or PHP Developer/Programmer.Additional experience in other programming languages is a plus. This is a part-time contract work and remote only.
