Compensation/Shift/Benefits of Purchasing Materials Coordinator/Stock Attendant$50,000 - $55,0007:00 am- 4:00 pm Monday-FridayBenefits include: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), PTOResponsibilities of Purchasing Materials Coordinator/Stock AttendantMonitor and verify the maintenance spare parts inventory.Maintain accurate records of spare parts usage, including details of where, when, and by whom parts were used.Inspect and compare materials or merchandise against receiving documents and requisitions.Perform cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and update CMMS software as needed.Maintain department records in compliance with TS16949 and ISO14001 standards.Actively identify and address unsafe behaviors and conditions.Prepare items for repair shipment, completing all necessary tracking paperwork.Unload trucks and organize items in the designated storage areas.Handle clerical duties such as creating purchase requisitions and entering inventory data.Locate and requisition materials, coordinating delivery schedules based on priorities and availability.Utilize computerized systems to generate reports on material quantities and types.Oversee purchasing for both production and maintenance teams.Assess vendors and engage in competitive bidding negotiations. Perform other duties as required and/or assigned.Requirements of Purchasing Materials Coordinator/Stock AttendantPreferred experience in steel, forging, or manufacturing industries.Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand tools.Strong technical knowledge.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal/external customers, vendors, and suppliers.
