Purchasing Data Processing Specialist

Data Processing SpecialistWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Data Processing Specialist to support our centralized purchasing operations. This position is responsible for processing requests, organizing data, preparing purchase orders, managing a shared email inbox, and maintaining accurate records for multiple locations throughout the state.The ideal candidate is comfortable working with spreadsheets, handling high volumes of email communication, organizing information, and performing repetitive tasks with a strong focus on accuracy and efficiency.Essential ResponsibilitiesProcess purchasing requests received through a shared email inboxCreate and submit purchase orders to vendorsEnter, update, and maintain accurate data in company systems and spreadsheetsReview requests for completeness and accuracyCopy, transfer, and organize information from multiple sourcesCommunicate with vendors regarding orders, pricing, and product availabilityTrack order status and maintain documentationOrganize electronic records and supporting documentationIdentify and resolve data discrepancies when neededAssist with reporting and other administrative projects as assignedSpecific QualificationsStrong data entry and administrative skillsProficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office applicationsExcellent attention to detail and accuracyStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently while contributing to a team environmentPreferred QualificationsExperience working with purchase orders, purchasing, procurement, or vendor communicationsPrevious administrative, data entry, accounting support, or office coordination experienceExperience working in shared inboxes and maintaining electronic recordsIntermediate Excel skills, including sorting, filtering, and basic formulasThis position is not eligible for visa sponsorship or work authorization support.
