Position Summary
The Purchasing Coordinator manages a set of specialized purchasing and inventory programs within the Purchasing department, including the Automation inventory and parts program. This role is both customer-facing and internal-facing, requiring close coordination with Sales, Mole IQ Team, Accounts Payable, and department vendors to keep stock levels, equipment orders, and change orders on track. The Coordinator also provides broader administrative support to the Purchasing department including mobile service responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Automation Program Management
• Monitor Mole IQ stock levels and review high-probability opportunities using Power BI, in coordination with Sales and the Automation team.
• Manage stock transfers, restocking orders, and serial number tracking, maintaining an accurate, up-to-date live spreadsheet within Frazier’s systems.
• Coordinate shipping releases for specific projects, including releases to the Dyersburg facility.
• Own the Automation Parts Program end to end: manage order receipt, stocking, and shipping to fulfill both customer and internal demand.
• Manage inventory of maintenance carts, batteries, chargers, and spare parts, reviewing orders for necessary components.
PM Buying
• Review order transmittals and secure long-lead-time items.
• Ensure timely order releases and respond to rush or emergency requests.
• Track and manage change orders while maintaining budget compliance.
• Collaborate closely with department team members on sourcing and order coordination.
Department Support
• Manage stock orders for wire mesh decks and prepare Selecdeck reports.
• Order general office supplies, including paper, toner, and water.
• Order company checks and envelopes as needed.
• Manage mobile phone services
Qualifications
• Experience in purchasing, inventory management, or supply chain coordination.
• Proficiency with Power BI or comparable reporting/data tools; comfort maintaining detailed tracking spreadsheets.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent programs and shifting priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional and customer-facing coordination.
• Ability to work within budget constraints and track purchase orders and invoices accurately.
• Familiarity with ERP or purchasing systems preferred.
• A proactive, hands-on approach and comfort taking ownership of new or evolving responsibilities.
