Automated Machinery Company is offering an excellent opportunity for a Purchasing Agent who is ready to grow their career with a pioneer in the packaging industry. We are searching for qualified and ambitious individuals with established knowledge of purchasing fundamentals.

Requirements:

·         5 years experience

·         Intuit QuickBooks Enterprise

·         Inventory and materials management

·         Demonstrable experience in negotiating prices and terms and conditions

·         Price and cost analysis

·         Mechanically oriented person.

·         Overtime

Requirements Software:

·         Intuit QuickBooks Enterprise

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

·         Prepares purchase orders by verifying specifications and price

·         Verifies purchase requisitions by comparing items requested to master list

·         Manage relationships with key suppliers to maintain quality of goods, timely delivery and compliance to terms of contracts

·         Review supplies to ensure quality

·         Negotiating prices and delivery

·         Keep updated records

·         Maintain orderly purchasing documentation

·         Must be willing to accept other duties
