This role helps keep our maintenance operations running smoothly, especially during high-volume periods such as unit turns.
The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn property maintenance materials and systems.Key ResponsibilitiesInventory ManagementMaintain and update inventory tracking spreadsheets with accurate informationMonitor stock levels and notify management when items need to be reorderedAssist with preparing and stocking materials for busy periods such as unit turnsPurchasing SupportHelp source vendors and compare pricing for cost-effective purchasingAssist with ordering standard and specialty maintenance partsTrack inventory usage and help identify future supply needsShop Organization & LogisticsKeep the maintenance shop clean, organized, and efficientMaintain designated areas for:DeliveriesSpecial-order partsTool check-in/check-outPart returnsTurn materialsWork-order suppliesMaterials & Tools ControlAssist with daily check-in and check-out of tools and materialsHelp maintain accountability and organization of all equipmentParts Pickup & DeliveryOccasionally pick up parts from vendors as neededAssist with before or after-hours pickups when necessary for next-day operationsPreferred KnowledgeBasic understanding of maintenance parts and tools related to:HVACPlumbingElectricalAppliancesCarpentryQualifications & Success FactorsHighly organized with strong attention to detailStrong time-management and problem-solving skillsReliable, proactive, and willing to learnWorks well independently and with a teamGood communication and customer service skillsPhysically capable of handling inventory and materialsBasic to intermediate computer skillsEducation & ExperienceHigh School Diploma or equivalent requiredPrevious inventory, warehouse, or purchasing support experience preferredMaintenance parts and tools experience preferredProperty maintenance experience is a plus1–2 years of related experience preferredScheduleFull-timeMonday through Friday8-hour shiftsCompensation: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
