Purchasing Analyst V

Purchasing/Sourcing SpecialistWe are seeking a Purchasing/Sourcing Specialist to support purchasing and procurement operations. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies, identifying competitive suppliers, negotiating pricing and terms, and supporting the RFP process.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to achieve competitive pricing, quality, and service.Manage and support RFP processes, including evaluating potential suppliers.Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with contractual requirements and expectations.Evaluate purchasing needs related to cost, quality, inventory levels, and supply chain operations.Identify opportunities to consolidate purchases and leverage bulk purchasing to negotiate cost savings.Ensure purchasing activities comply with applicable regulations, policies, and guidelines.Partner with internal teams to understand purchasing requirements and sourcing needs.Support specialized purchasing categories, including commodities or raw materials, as needed.Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate will have experience in procurement, purchasing, strategic sourcing, supplier/vendor management, or supply chain operations. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
