Join a culture of collaboration and innovation that matters and a chance to learn, effect change, and make meaningful contributions at work and in communities.The Punch Press Operator position is located in Dixon, IL and will set up and operate machines to fabricate metal components according to specifications.This 1st shift position is, Monday through Thursday, 4:00am to 2:00pm.Role Responsibilities:Preliminarily set up and operate or tend a variety of machines such as punch presses and special purpose equipment to form metal according to drawing requirementsInterpret drawing and blueprint requirementsUse hand tools to work with materialCount productResolve routine questions and problems and refer more complex issues to a higher level for resolutionComplies with all DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and proceduresUses all designated Personal Protective Equipment as requiredMinimum Qualifications:Education consisting of a high school diploma/GED or a minimum of one (1) year of related experience in lieu of educationPerform a variety of tasks safely throughout the day in a fast-paced work environmentInteract constructively and effectively with all plant employeesAbility to work in a team environment toward a common goalReacts to change productively and to handle other tasks as assignedPreferred Qualifications:Manufacturing ExperienceLean CertifiedHourly Rate: $20.69Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, including but not limited to applicable work experience, training, education, and performance.This position is eligible for an annual incentive plan based on performance and company growth.Employee benefits are part of the competitive total rewards package that Donaldson Company, Inc. provides to you.
