Pump Assembly Technician - HPSThe Pump Assembly Technician - HPS will assemble horizontal pump systems used in artificial lift applications.

The role requires precise mechanical assembly, shaft alignment, and electrical wiring to ensure reliable operation of pump equipment. The technician will follow engineering drawings, maintain quality standards, and collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams.ResponsibilitiesInterpret engineering drawings and work orders for horizontal pump assemblies.Perform mechanical assembly of pump components, including housings, bearings, and shafts.Align shafts and rotating equipment to specified tolerances using precision tools.Install and route wiring harnesses, connect sensors, and perform basic electrical terminations.Conduct fit?checks, torque applications, and leak tests on assembled units.Document assembly steps, test results, and any deviations in the production log.Identify and report non?conformances or material shortages to supervisors.Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards.Assist in troubleshooting and rework of defective assemblies.Participate in continuous?improvement initiatives and suggest process enhancements.QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED; technical certification or associate degree preferred.2+ years of mechanical assembly experience in oilfield or industrial equipment.Proficiency with hand and power tools, torque wrenches, and alignment equipment.Basic understanding of electrical wiring and conduit installation.Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and P&IDs.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.Good math skills for measurements, tolerances, and torque calculations.Familiarity with safety practices, including lockout/tagout and PPE usage.Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.Flexibility to work overtime or shift rotations as production demands require.Job InfoJob Identification 44008Job Category AssemblyJob Schedule Full timeLocations 12502 E 55th St, Tulsa, OK, 74146, US
