The Pump Assembler I is responsible for preparing and assembling product.
This position is expected to assist other Assemblers while learning to work more independently.What Will You Do:Effectively demonstrate the core values of SPM Oil & GasFollow all written policies and procedures safely without deviation or refer to upper management for guidanceExhibit and always advocate exemplary safety cultureClean, strip and inspect all required componentsPrepare components for assemblyAssemble parts per work instructions, Standard Operating Procedures, blueprints, Risk Assessment and job routersAbility to assemble quality products to meet safety protocol and efficiency standardsTests or assists in testing the operation of completed productMaintain routine housekeeping to eliminate workplace hazardsTroubleshoots, disassembles, and performs a detailed evaluation to determine repair needs and root cause analysis for the followingClean work area, machines, tools, and equipmentUtilize all PPEPerform other routine duties as requestedTop Candidates will have:One year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceWorking knowledge of oil and gas equipmentExperience as a pump mechanicPhysical Demands:Frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hearRequired to sit; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawlMust occasionally lift and/or move up to fifty poundsSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focusMust be able to wear protective footwear and other Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by the departmentWork Environment:Regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particlesFrequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditionsOccasionally exposed to high, precarious places and vibrationNoise Level: ModerateSummary Pay Range:$21.90 - $29.30Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.
