Location: Norton, VA

Start Date: 11/02/2026

End Date: 02/01/2027

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am – 6:00 pm (10-hour days)

Shift: Day shift

Hours/week: 50

Employment Type: Contract

License/Certs: Virginia Medical License, Board Certified in Pulmonary

Experience: N/A minimum required

Hourly Pay Rate: $3,510.00

What You'll Do

  • Provide specialized pulmonary care to adult patients in a Black Lung Clinic setting
  • Conduct critical care rounding, managing up to 6 patients daily
  • Perform procedures such as A-line insertions and interpret EKGs and PFTs
  • Collaborate with respiratory therapists and clinical staff
  • Document patient care using Epic EMR system
  • Support patient education and preventative care measures
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and health regulations

What You Need

Required:
  • Virginia Medical License
  • Board Certification in Pulmonary Medicine
  • Ability to perform A-line insertions, interpret EKG & PFTs
  • Vaccination against influenza
Preferred:
  • Experience in critical care and adult pulmonology
  • Strong diagnostic and procedural skills
