Pulmonology - Critical Care Physician

Pioneer is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Pulmonary and Critical Care provider for a week-on/week-off role with 12-hour shifts at AdventHealth Gordon in Calhoun, Georgia. The provider will cover ICU, inpatient pulmonary, and outpatient clinic services.

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage pulmonary and critical care patients across hospital and outpatient settings.
• Partner with clinical, administrative, and referral teams to support timely, coordinated patient care.
• Support initiatives that improve access, patient experience, documentation, compliance, and outcomes.
• Contribute to a team culture grounded in communication, professionalism, compassion, and continuous improvement.

• MD or DO degree with board certification or board eligibility in Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine.
• Experience managing ICU patients and pulmonary consults required.
• Eligible for Georgia medical licensure and DEA registration, or ability to obtain prior to start date.
• Strong clinical judgment, documentation habits, and commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care.
• Excellent communication skills and comfort collaborating with multidisciplinary clinical teams.
• Interest in program growth, quality improvement, and building strong referral relationships within Calhoun, Gordon County, and the surrounding Northwest Georgia market.
