Practice Description
Clinical & Facility Environment
- Practice Setting: 100% Inpatient / Hospital-Based (May cover multiple facilities)
- Patient Population: Adult and Geriatric care only. No pediatrics or neonate care.
- Daily Census / Volume: Hospital Consults: 10-15 patients/day | ICU: 10-15 patients/day. Hospital Pulmonology daily service total averages 40 patients.
- Unit Infrastructure: 38 total specialized beds (20 ICU beds, 12 CCU beds, and 6 CVICU beds)
- On-Site Team Support: Up to 3 physicians and 3 Advanced Practice Clinicians (APCs) on-site per weekday
- EMR Platform: Epic Electronic Medical Records
Job Requirement
Mandatory Position Requirements
- Board Certification: Board Certified in Critical Care required (Pulmonary preferred)
- Fellowship Training: Completed Fellowship in Critical Care Medicine and/or Pulmonology
- Licensure: Active, unrestricted South Carolina state medical license
- Core Credentials: Active ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and active, unrestricted DEA registration
