Mount Sinai Health System is seeking a full-time Pulmonologist for its State-of-the-Art Ambulatory Pavilion in Queens. This phenomenal opportunity involves providing both inpatient consultation and outpatient services in Astoria, one of New York City's most dynamic neighborhoods. The ideal candidate will play an instrumental role in ensuring excellent patient care, quality outcomes, and satisfaction, with a passion for both inpatient and outpatient medicine.

Practice Info

  • Practice located in a State-of-the-Art Ambulatory Pavilion in Queens, featuring a full range of primary and specialty services under one roof
  • The Ambulatory Pavilion has 50 physicians already onboard, including Cardiology, Urology, Endocrine, Pediatrics, GYN, and Oncology, as well as advanced imaging and procedural capabilities
  • The Mount Sinai Queens Hospital, a 160-bed community hospital attached to the Ambulatory Pavilion, provides acute care services
  • Opportunity to build a Pulmonology practice with a diverse patient population in a large, busy multi-specialty practice
  • University affiliated; community based practice
  • Minimal administrative responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Provide both inpatient consultation to hospitalized patients and outpatient services in an ambulatory setting
  • Ensure excellent patient care, quality outcomes, and satisfaction
  • Collaborate with multi-specialty practice colleagues
  • Participate in PI and QA initiatives (optional)

Compensation

  • Compensation range from $300,000 to $375,000 (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits)
  • Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialties, historical productivity, historical collections, and hospital/community need
  • The salary range listed is for full-time employment and does not include bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits

Requirements

  • Medical Degree from an Accredited University
  • New York Medical License
  • BE or BC in Pulmonary Medicine
  • Minimum 3 years' experience
