Pulmonologist

A community-based teaching hospital in Southwest Georgia is seeking a full-time Pulmonologist to join an established and growing outpatient practice. This role focuses entirely on clinic-based pulmonology, with bronchoscopy services performed in the hospital setting. The successful candidate will join a team that includes a board-certified pulmonology and critical care physician and an experienced advanced practice provider, benefiting from a well-established patient volume.

Practice Info

• Established single-specialty pulmonology practice
• Outpatient practice with bronchoscopy services performed in the hospital setting
• Practice currently includes a board-certified pulmonology and critical care physician along with an experienced advanced practice provider
• Patient volume averages 20 to 25 patients per day
• Pulmonology clinic is located within walking distance of the hospital campus
• Hospital resources include dedicated physician amenities and a robust medical education center

Responsibilities

• Perform clinic-based pulmonology
• Perform bronchoscopy services in the hospital setting
• Precept residents and medical students
• Actively participate in a supportive teaching environment

Compensation

• Guaranteed salary plus 100% of practice profits

Shift & Schedule

• Full time outpatient pulmonology opportunity
• No pulmonology call responsibilities
• The clinic operates Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm
