Pulmonary/Critical Care Intensivist

Position

Provider Careers at NYC Health + Hospitals. Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is hiring a Pulmonary/Critical Care Intensivist at NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem. Harlem Hospital is the largest hospital in Central Harlem and the only Safety Net Hospital in Northern Manhattan.

Responsibilities / Overview

• Provide critical care services in the inpatient setting.
• Manage outpatient pulmonary care.
• Support the robust IM residency training program.
• Collaborate as a major clinical site for Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons.

Qualifications

• Active NYS medical license.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine.

Compensation and Benefits

Annual Base Salary: $292,000 (Board Eligible) or $302,000 (Board Certified) based on a 40‑hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.

• Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $55,520.
• Projected bonus up to $40,000 based on meeting quality and productivity targets.
• 401(k) Company Contribution: 3% immediately vested; after one year additional 7%.
