Leading the design and implementation of complex case management and workflow automation solutions, the full-time remote Public Trust Appian Lead Developer will drive development initiatives, integrate AI capabilities, and ensure compliance with security standards in a federal environment. Key responsibilities Manage development initiatives and lead small-to-medium development teams in delivering enterprise-grade applications Implement AI-driven capabilities to enhance business processes and workflow automation Ensure compliance with federal security standards and regulations, including FISMA and NIST Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience 7+ years of hands-on Appian development experience, including design and implementation of applications using Appian 17.x or later 3+ years in a technical lead or senior developer role, with experience in federal or highly regulated environments Proficiency in SQL/Relational Databases and hands-on experience with AWS cloud services Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance
