Public Sector Finance Director — Budget & Compliance Lead

Madison County is seeking a Finance Director to oversee all financial operations, ensuring integrity of accounting policy, systems, budgets and internal controls. You will lead accounting, budgeting, payroll, and reporting in support of county government and agencies.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Public or Business Administration and at least four years’ experience in government accounting, with strong knowledge of GAAP and public-sector budgeting.
