Public Sector CFO: Strategic Financial Leader

State of Montana is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to lead the Office of Finance & Budget, directing financial planning, budgeting, and internal audit. You will oversee a thirteen‑person team, ensure fiscal integrity, and provide executive-level guidance aligned with state priorities.

You will report to the Deputy Director and collaborate with Governor’s Budget Office, bond counsel, and agency partners. A CPA and government finance experience are preferred for this role in Helena, MT.
