Public Relations Assistant Intern

Interested in public relations and ready to gain hands-on experience? Hot Fry Media is looking for an organized, enthusiastic PR Assistant Intern to support our team remotely and attend local events in Los Angeles.

This opportunity is a great fit for someone looking to develop their writing, research, and communication skills while learning how PR campaigns come together.

What you’ll do:

- Research journalists, media outlets, influencers, and potential brand partners.
- Help draft media pitches, press releases, and other communications.
- Build and update media lists and outreach trackers.
- Attend events in Los Angeles and assist with on-site PR support, media coordination, and client needs.
- Assist with campaign coordination, event preparation, and follow-ups.
- Monitor media coverage and organize campaign results.
- Support day-to-day PR and administrative tasks remotely.

- An interest in public relations, media, and storytelling.

- Access to a computer and reliable internet connection.

You’ll work 10 hours per week with flexibility around classes or other commitments. Event attendance will be coordinated in advance. We will work with your college or university to support the documentation required for academic credit.

Relevant coursework, student projects, or previous experience are welcome, but professional PR experience is not required.
