The History Program at Fairmont State University seeks a tenure-track Assistant Professor of History specializing in Public History for Fall 2027. Teaching will be split 50/50 between History and the Museum Studies minor, with curriculum development and active partnerships with local and national museums.
Minimum terminal degree in history or related field; ABD considered. Four courses per semester, service to department and community, and strong teaching skill are expected.
